Oceanographic cruisses
This project includes two oceanographic cruisses in the Atlantic Ocean
Retro EZR
The RETRO-EZR cruisse make an interdisciplinary oceanographic measurements performed in the western Equatorial Atlantic Ocean , with special emphasis on the physical environment. The measures seek to quantify how much of Nord Brazil Stream is retroflected to the interior ocean, and understand the mechanisms of equatorial retroflection and determine the trajectory and transformations which have retroflected water during its transformation phase to Equatorial Subsurface flow.
Retro BMC
The RETRO-BMC cruisse take an interdisciplinary oceanographic measurements performed in the Brazil Malvinas confluence region, near "Rio de la Plata" eatuary, with special emphasis on the physical environment. The measures seek to quantify which part of the South Brazil Stream are retroflected to the interior ocean, and understand the retroflection mechanisms and determine trajectory and transformations which have retroflected waters during its transformation phase.
